Make a fair routine that suits your mindset and stick to it. Whether this involves short bursts of study or a ban on work after 8 pm or utilising free periods for revision so you don’t have to catch up at home.
Keep track of important events with a planner or timetable, making sure to be kind to yourself with deadlines and downtime.
Talk to people you trust about things that are troubling you as you may find this stress is shared and can therefore be tackled together.
Set small realistic goals for yourself. For example finishing a piece of pre-work, building short exercise into your lifestyle, quitting a harmful habit like nail-biting. Remember to reward yourself for successes!
Try writing a diary or journal to let out any worries. I recommend using a plain lined notebook so there’s no pressure to write a certain amount everyday. Although it may seem like a waste of time, recording random thoughts, ideas and worries can definitely help alleviate stress.
