In this modern day, owning pets is a commonality. Among the pet owner community, there are cats. A feline embodiment of Saturday nights.
Owning cats comes with its many, many experiences - from waking up with a traumatised mouse in your hair to finding strange piles of green liquid by the back door, cat’s have their ways of charming us.
Every so often, a cat will pay some attention to you, rubbing its sides against your legs and chirping at you - all this love gives us a warm fuzzy feeling. It's great until they slap your face for touching their right ear. Sometimes they crave this rare attention at fun times in the day - three in the morning is popular - where you suddenly wake up to a slam and a bang against your walls are doors. You might think its ghosts, but no, it’s your cat having its funny five minutes - wanting desperately for you to throw catnip infused stuffed mice across the room.
There are times when your cat really shows it’s love for you - those times happen to be at dinner time when a loud, long meow will indicate that your feline friend fancies a pouch of salmon and tuna cat food. They like to jump up on counters just to get a whiff of the sweet, sweet jellified fish.
But really, having cats is great, even when they surprise you with a beheaded squirrel. They have their moments of silence, when they crawl up next to you and pur away just from you tickling their chins.
Cat’s are the best.
